About Serman Yacht Charter
Serman Yacht Charter is the luxury yacht charter house of the SERMAN group in Palma de Mallorca, alongside SERMAN RENT and SERMAN Properties. We arrange private charters on superyachts, motor yachts, sport yachts and sailing catamarans, always with a professional captain at the helm. Our role is to match the yacht, the crew and the route to the way you want to spend your time at sea.

Who we are
SERMAN is a Palma-based group whose companies look after different parts of a stay on Mallorca: SERMAN RENT for premium car rental, SERMAN Properties for real estate and Serman Yacht Charter for time on the water. Being part of one group means a single conversation can cover your charter and a car from SERMAN RENT for the rest of your stay. Enquiries, planning and quotes are handled in English, Spanish or German, and every yacht we propose, from a sport yacht for the day to a superyacht for the week, runs with a professional captain and, on larger yachts, a full crew.

How we plan your yacht charter
Each charter begins with a conversation about your guests, your dates and the kind of time at sea you have in mind, whether that is a sunset on the Bay of Palma, a celebration on board or a week across the Balearics. We then prepare a considered shortlist of crewed or skippered yachts, each with photographs, cabin layout, guest capacity and a written quote that sets out what is included and what is extra. Once you choose, you receive the charter agreement to review; week charters commonly follow MYBA terms. We then coordinate the details with the captain, from the route and boarding marina to catering, your preference sheet, celebrations and transfers. Prices are always on request, because no two charters are alike.

Where we sail in Mallorca
Charters typically board in Palma or at marinas west of the city such as Puerto Portals and Port Adriano, within easy reach of the anchorages of the Bay of Palma and the south-west coast towards Port d'Andratx and the natural park of Sa Dragonera. Multi-day charters, or longer days on faster yachts, open up the coast of the Serra de Tramuntana around Sóller, a UNESCO World Heritage cultural landscape, as well as Cap de Formentor at the northern tip of Mallorca, the coves of the south-east and the Cabrera Archipelago Maritime-Terrestrial National Park, where navigating requires a prior permit and mooring buoys must be booked in advance online. For a week aboard, routes can extend to Ibiza and Formentera, depending on the yacht, the season and the weather.
Clarity
A written quote and clear terms before you commit, so you know what is included, what is on request and what is extra. On week charters, the advance provisioning allowance (APA) is accounted for with receipts.
Care for the sea
Captains on our charters anchor on sand or use authorised buoys, as Balearic Decree 25/2018 on the conservation of Posidonia oceanica requires, and respect the rules of the marine reserves and of Cabrera National Park.
Discretion
Private means private. Guest lists, plans and celebrations stay between you, your captain and us, whether you are hosting family, friends or clients.
Local knowledge
We are based in Palma and read the coast by the wind: which side is sheltered, which cove is calm, and when a change of plan makes for a better day. When the north wind blows, the south coast often offers calmer water.
