Luxury motor yacht charter in Mallorca

The motor yacht class is the broadest in the fleet: ten yachts from 12 to 23.6 metres, with flybridges, a three-deck layout and explorer styling between them. Each runs with a professional captain, the larger ones with crew as well, so the choice comes down to your group, the shade you want and how far the day should go.

Overview

At the top of the class, the Sunseeker 76 is the all-rounder: 23.6 metres, four cabins, a crew of three and room for 12 guests, equally at home on a day charter or an overnight escape. Classic Sunseeker styling meets a sociable cockpit, with a Williams 325 jet tender, a paddle board and a wakeboard aboard. The Pearl 65 takes a different approach. A British motor yacht of 21.1 metres, she is known for a bright, voluminous interior, with four cabins for up to 10 guests and full-size comfort for her length. The Absolute 62 reaches a similar result across three decks: an Italian layout so clever, and so full of natural light, that her 20.5 metres feel far larger.

Two yachts are built for a particular kind of day. The Explorer 62 pairs rugged explorer styling with genuine comfort and the most serious toy line-up in the class, a Seabob, an electric surfboard and a Williams jet tender, for up to 12 guests on an adventurous charter. The Sirena 58 is the quiet one, a long-range cruiser with an efficient hull and a calm, understated look, made for relaxed days and easy coastal exploration, with three cabins for up to 10 guests. The Bavaria R55 brings clean, contemporary lines, comfortable accommodation for 9 and easy decks for days along the coast.

From 15 metres down, the class turns to flybridges and smaller groups. The Sunseeker Portofino 48 is a timeless flybridge classic for up to 12 guests, with a jet tender, a wakeboard and a donut for the swim stops. The Bavaria 42 Fly fits three cabins and an upper helm deck into 12.39 metres, and the Sessa 40 Fly, a compact Italian flybridge with twin helm stations, suits an intimate day for up to 8. The Targa 40, a sturdy, sea-kindly Fairline cruiser, is the one for confident day trips across a range of conditions. Whichever you choose, the captain anchors on sand clear of the protected Posidonia seagrass and plans the day around Mallorca's afternoon sea breeze, the embat. Charters are arranged from Mallorca, and the team confirms the berth for your dates.

    Cabins for a night aboard

Four cabins on the Sunseeker 76 and the Pearl 65, and three on the Explorer 62, Absolute 62, Sirena 58, Bavaria R55 and Bavaria 42 Fly. The Sunseeker 76 is made for an overnight escape and the Sirena 58 for long-range cruising.

  • / 04

    Tenders and toys

A Williams 325 jet tender on the Sunseeker 76, Williams jet tenders on the Explorer 62 and Absolute 62, and a Seabob and an electric surfboard on the Explorer 62. Paddle boards and snorkelling gear are aboard most of the class.

A day aboard
  1. 01

    Welcome aboard

Your captain and crew meet you at the berth confirmed for your dates. After a short safety briefing, the route is set around the day's wind and your wishes.

  2. 02

    Along the coast

The yacht heads along the coast towards the day's first cove, with shade in the cockpit and sun on the bow or the flybridge. Near beaches the captain slows right down, as Spanish rules require.

  3. 03

    Swim, lunch, second cove

At anchor over sand in clear water, you swim from the platform, take the tender ashore where there is one, or lunch in the shade. With a motor yacht's range, a second cove often fits into the plan.

  4. 04

    The cruise home

On the way back, the flybridge or the bow sun pads are the place to be. The captain brings you back at an easy pace, ready for an evening ashore or, on the Sunseeker 76, a night aboard.

Before you book

  • Fuel plays a bigger part on a motor yacht. For day charters the fuel terms vary by yacht, so check them in your quote and charter contract. For longer charters, running costs such as fuel, food and berths are commonly covered by an advance provisioning allowance (APA), accounted for by the captain, with any unused balance returned.
  • Guest numbers run from 8 on the Sessa 40 Fly to 12 on the Sunseeker 76, Explorer 62 and Portofino 48, and for a night aboard the cabins set the number. Tell us your group size first and we match the yacht to it.
  • Overnight stays suit the Sunseeker 76, made for an overnight escape, and the long-range Sirena 58. On the other motor yachts, day and sunset charters are the norm, and longer charters can be discussed with the team.
  • Close to shore the pace slows by law. Where no bathing zone is buoyed, Spain's General Coastal Regulation treats the water near beaches and the rest of the coast as a bathing area with a 3-knot limit, and anchoring on Posidonia seagrass is prohibited in the Balearics as a general rule, so your captain anchors on sand or uses authorised buoys.
  • Cabrera National Park requires a navigation permit, and anchoring is prohibited throughout the park: yachts tie up to the park's buoys instead, allocated by the yacht's length. Tell us early if Cabrera is on your list.
