Private yacht day charter in Mallorca
A private yacht day charter in Mallorca is the most natural way to see the island: from the water, at your own pace, with only your guests and crew on board. Your captain reads the morning forecast, picks the coves that will be calm and sheltered, and shapes the day around swimming, snorkelling and a long lunch at anchor.

Your day can begin in Palma, Puerto Portals or Port Adriano, depending on where the yacht is based, and often follows the south-west coast. Heading west, the Calvià shoreline opens into sheltered bays such as Portals Vells, where yachts anchor over pale sand in settled weather and a cave in the cliffs is tied to an old sailors' legend. Offshore, the islets of El Toro and Les Malgrats lie in protected marine reserve waters, and on a longer outing the route can continue to the natural park of Sa Dragonera off the island's western tip.
The route is not fixed in advance. In summer a sea breeze, known locally as the embat, often builds across the Bay of Palma as the day warms, so a good captain covers the exposed stretches early and saves the calmest anchorage for lunch. Balearic law protects the Posidonia oceanica seagrass meadows, so yachts anchor on sand or use authorised low-impact buoys, such as the buoy field Ports IB has run in recent summers at Sant Elm. Many beaches are buoyed off for swimmers in summer, so the yacht stays outside the line and guests reach the shore by tender or a short swim, where the rules allow.
The yacht you choose shapes the day. A motor or sport yacht covers more coastline between swims, a sailing catamaran turns the passage itself into the experience and gives a large group wide, stable decks, and a superyacht usually brings a full crew, a chef and water toys. Tell us your group and your pace, and we will match the crewed yacht, the route and the departure marina, with prices on request.

Questions Day charter
/ 01How long is a day charter?
A full day usually runs from the morning into the late afternoon, and the exact hours are agreed when you book. If you would prefer a shorter outing, ask us about the options for your chosen yacht or consider a sunset cruise.
/ 02Which marina do we depart from?
Departures are often from Palma, Puerto Portals or Port Adriano, according to where the yacht is based. Your quote names the marina and the boarding point, and SERMAN RENT can arrange a car transfer on request.
/ 03Do we need a boat licence or sailing experience?
No. Every Serman Yacht Charter day runs with a professional captain, so nobody in your group needs a licence or any experience. You are welcome to take an interest in the navigation, or simply relax.
/ 04What happens if the weather turns?
Safety decisions rest with the captain. Often a change of route to the sheltered side of the coast is enough. If conditions make the day unsafe or uncomfortable, we discuss a new date or the terms set out in your charter agreement.
/ 05Are food and drinks included?
Catering and drinks are arranged on request, so the menu suits your group. Choose a catered lunch on board or a table ashore, and your quote lists exactly what is included.
