Private yacht party in Mallorca: birthdays, anniversaries and proposals
Hosting a party on a private yacht in Mallorca turns a birthday, an anniversary or a proposal into an occasion shared only with the people who matter. The venue is the open sea, the guest list is yours alone, and we arrange the details, from the cake and the flowers to the moment the cava is poured, so you can simply be present.

Depending on where the yacht is based, a celebration can leave from Palma, Puerto Portals or Port Adriano and follow the sheltered south-west coast. Bays such as Portals Vells, where yachts anchor over pale sand in settled weather, make a calm setting for a toast, a swim and a long lunch on deck. Balearic rules (Decree 25/2018) protect the Posidonia seagrass meadows, so your captain anchors on sand or at an authorised buoy, and the party stays light on the sea as well as on the guests.
For a proposal on a yacht in Mallorca, timing matters more than distance. The hour before sunset is a popular choice: the daytime sea breeze usually starts to ease and the light turns gold. On a longer charter, depending on the yacht, the west coast near Sant Elm offers one of the island's classic sunsets, with the rugged silhouette of Sa Dragonera just offshore. Closer to home, the return after dark has its own moment: La Seu cathedral rising above the Bay of Palma among the lights of the city. We agree a discreet plan with you beforehand, down to the cue for the crew to bring out the glasses.
Birthdays and anniversaries tend to be about the table. Ask for a menu built on local produce, a bottle from Binissalem or Pla i Llevant, Mallorca's two wine denominations of origin, or an ensaïmada, the island's spiral pastry protected as a geographical indication, alongside the cake. A sailing catamaran, for up to 45 or 65 guests, suits a larger party, a superyacht brings a full crew to a smaller group, and a sport yacht keeps things intimate for two. Every charter runs with a professional captain, and prices are on request.

Questions Celebrations
/ 01How many guests can we invite to a yacht celebration?
It depends on the number of guests each yacht is licensed to carry. Share your guest list and we will suggest yachts that fit it comfortably, from a sport yacht for two to a sailing catamaran for up to 65 guests.
/ 02Can you help us keep a proposal on a yacht a secret?
Yes. We plan it with you alone, agree what the crew should know and where the ring is kept, and send any updates only to you. Your partner simply sees a beautiful day at sea until the moment arrives.
/ 03Can we get married on a yacht in Mallorca?
A symbolic ceremony or a vow renewal at sea is possible, but on its own it is not a legal marriage. In Spain a civil marriage needs a prior marriage file and is celebrated before an authorised official, such as a mayor, a notary or a court clerk, so couples often complete the legal formalities ashore first and celebrate on board afterwards.
/ 04Can we bring our own cake, decoration or music?
Usually, yes. Let us know in advance so the crew can store the cake properly and plan where everything goes. Decoration should stay secured on board, and candles or sparklers are at the captain's discretion.
/ 05What happens if the weather is not right on the day?
Safety decisions rest with the captain, and a sheltered anchorage is often enough to keep the plan. If conditions make the day unsafe or uncomfortable, we discuss a new date or the terms in your charter agreement. For a proposal, keeping a second date in mind takes the pressure off.
