Tesoro 50open-plan group day yacht charter in Mallorca

Tesoro Yachts is based in Spain and handles the whole build in its own facilities there, and the Tesoro 50 is the yard's T50 walkaround, 16.25 metres long with a beam of 4.62 metres. Everything about her is arranged for time on deck. High bulwarks line the side decks, which are wide enough for a group to move easily between the cockpit and the bow, and the cockpit itself stays open and uncluttered. Long, straight lines and a run of hull glazing on both sides give her a calm, modern profile.

The T-top is built in carbon fibre and is very large, covering the helm and the living area aft of it and giving the centre of the deck a deep pool of shade through the middle of the day. Forward, the bow seating and sun pad are set down into the deck behind high sides, in a position Tesoro Yachts treats as one of its trademarks, so guests can lie in the sun at anchor and still feel sheltered. Aft, a second sun pad faces the stern, and the bathing platform gives easy access to the water for swimming, paddle boarding and snorkelling.

Below deck, the side glazing fills the two cabins with daylight, and two heads complete the accommodation. She is built around sun, sea and socialising, and that is where she is strongest: a group of up to 12 at anchor in a south-east cala, lunch in the shade of the T-top, a long swim, then an unhurried run back at her 25 knot cruise, with 32 knots in hand. A skipper handles the boat and the anchor so the group can concentrate on the day.
